Why Counselling?

The chances are, you have come to my site having already thought that counselling might be of use. If you have not had any form of talking therapy before, you may feel daunted and you may be unsure of its use.

You may come with a strong focus of the issues at hand, for example anxiety, or have a sense of something not being right in your world but not sure of the words to explain this. You may come because someone else has suggested it, such as friends, family or employers.

Counselling provides a non-judgemental space for you to explore and uncover your thoughts, reactions and the feelings that you live with.

Short term or long-term? Please see this link about the different approaches.

What next?

You can call me, fill in the enquiry form or email me, whichever form of contact you feel comfortable with. You are free to ask me any questions and from that make a decision as to whether you would like to arrange a meeting either face-to-face or by Skype.

Before calling, think about the practical aspect. For example have to hand a few dates and times that would suit you. I will note these and check room availability. I will then email or call (as you prefer) with confirmation. You may find it useful to have a list of any questions you may want to go through before booking an appointment.

The phone calls and emails are confidential. Please let me know if it is ok to leave a message.

Fees and Locations

Each therapy session lasts fifty minutes. The first meeting is £30 and £60 thereafter. Please do ask about concessions and I will be able to let you know if any slots are available at a reduced rate.

I practice from two locations:

WC1 is centrally located within easy reach of Euston, Bloomsbury & King's Cross

-EC1 is a short walk from Old Street and close to Moorfields Hospital.

There is a wheelchair access at both practices.
